"No Time For That Now"
In 2004, Smith was invited to illustrate a childrens book by well known Park City author, Jeannine Heil, entitled "No Time For That Now". The story takes palce in Park City and follows the antics of Mitchell, his dog, Toby and their little friend, Lulu, as they join up with a gang of therapy dogs for adventure. Endorsed by the Intermountain Therapy Dog Association, the tale refers to the highly successful R.E.A.D. Program which originated in Utah and has now been adopted nationally in classrooms and libraries as a means of overcoming anxiety in troubled young readers by reading to sepcially trained dogs. Soon you will be able to order copies of the book, "No Time For That Now", as well as Giclee Prints of the original book illustrations. Stay tuned.
